Being a part of this entire incident was a strange experience all together for all of us in guajrat at that time. Those were times when you saw the two extremes of emotions. On one hand the media made it worse to worst by depicting the entire scenerios in a manner which was most uncalled for at that time and on the other hand the policitcs of the incident was on the play at its epitome. we had our boards, which were postponed and for days we did not even have an idea of when would the final dates be anounced. when the entire city was on fire in the name of religious sentiments, a Muslim family had come to stay with us to avoid the threat to their lives. i think what politics could not do was to take away the notion of humanity. it was not the peopel who were fighting with ech other but they were the puppets who were working on either influence or on order. yes agreed politcs is inevitably dirty
