Indo-US N-Deal

The “Non-Proliferation treaty” introduced by the US was rejected by India, after which sanctions were imposed on the latter. In July 2005 , the Indo- US deal was signed between the Bush administration and Manmohan Singh. Ironically,“intenational policeman” recognizes India as a responsible holder of nuclear weapons ,and allows trading of nuclear fuel .
US denounces China as a hostile competitor .The deal envisages India as a competent and powerful nation to contain Chinese domination in the Asian countries ;for which lifting up of sanctions and relaxation of non-proliferation norms is inevitable.
Is it a just a facade ?
Indeed it is ! It is a fine strategy adopted by the US to stake its claims in Asia.

The Bush administration is very well aware that trading of nuclear fuel to India will inevitably be accompanied by the “rogue” having their share of it . Hence , this misuse of nuke would give it an oppurtunity to establish its military base in India, thus empowering US in the Indian Sub Continent.US, the most powerful nation in the world would never want any “damn” country to emerge as its competitor , be it in Asia or anywhere else in the world .

Why doesn’t China sign a similar treaty with some other country in the American continent to check the growing powers of US??
Why didnt Clinton and the previous government of US anticipate in the same way as Bush??
